The Divine Shepherd

A Psalm of David.
¹The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
²   He makes me lie down in green pastures;
he leads me beside still waters;^*
3   he restores my soul.^*
He leads me in right paths^*
   for his name’s sake.

⁴Even though I walk through the darkest valley,^*
   I fear no evil;
for you are with me;
   your rod and your staff—
   they comfort me.

⁵You prepare a table before me
   in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
   my cup overflows.
⁶Surely^* goodness and mercy^* shall follow me
   all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
   my whole life long.^*

Nothing Is Impossible With God

Behold, the bondslave of the Lord; be it done to me according to your word (Luke 1:38).

If God wants something done, can it be done? In other words, if God has a goal for your life, can it be blocked, or is its fulfillment uncertain or impossible?

I am personally convinced that no goal God has for my life is impossible or uncertain, nor can it be blocked. Imagine God saying, “I’ve called you into existence, I’ve made you My child, and I have something for you to do. I know you won’t be able to do it, but give it your best shot.” That’s ludicrous! It’s like saying to your child, “I want to you to mow the lawn. Unfortunately, the lawn is full of rocks, the mower doesn’t work, and there’s no gas. But give it your best shot.” Even secular scholars say that issuing a command that cannot be obeyed will undermine authority.

God had a staggering goal for a little maiden named Mary. An angel told her that she would bear a son while still a virgin, and that her son would be the Savior of the world. When she inquired about this seemingly impossible feat, the angel simply said, “Nothing will be impossible with God” (Luke 1:37).

You wouldn’t give your child a task he couldn’t complete, and God doesn’t assign to you goals you can’t achieve. His goals for you are possible, certain and achievable. When God’s will for us appears impossible, let’s say with Mary: “Behold, the bondslave of the Lord; be it done to me according to your word” (Luke 1:38).

Imagine the overwhelming assignment that confronted Mary. She was to have a baby without being with a man. She was to raise the child who would save the world. The entire course of history would be altered, and the eternal destiny of believers would be changed. The fact that you are celebrating Christmas today is proof that Mary’s child Jesus was indeed the world-changing Son of God.

Despite the staggering nature of the task announced by the angel, Mary gave herself to accomplish God’s will. God is still looking for a few bondslaves who will dare to believe that nothing is impossible with God.

Lord, I yield to You as Your bondslave. I choose to believe that whatever You want me to do I can do.

all of your dreams and wishes come true because i could`not find a better friend like you!

Somewhere, someone dreams of your smile & finds your presence in life so
worthwhile. so when your lonely, remember It ‘s true that someone, somewhere, is
thinking  of you

mothers day

There is a gift that gold cannot buy a blessing dats rare & true. Thats the
gift of a wonderful mum, and that lovely mum is you!

Baby only for you, Would I touch your poo, Let you wee, All over me, I’ll pick your
nose & kiss your toes, Clean your bum, Because I’m your mum

If I had a flower for each time I thought of My Mother, I could walk in my
garden forever.

The recipe of motherhood: 1 cup of sharing. 2 cups of caring. 3 cups of
forgiveness & hugs. Mix all of these together to the best MUM

If there was a day for everything you have given to me as a mother,
it would be Mother’s Day every day.

Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs… since the
payment is pure love.

A man loves his sweetheart the most, his wife the best, but his mother
the longest.

Children playing outside cars can cause accidents.  but adults playing inside
cars can cause children by accident!

Boys should tell their trousers that it ‘s rude to point

be careful when a guy tells you that he loves you from the bottom of his heart. for
this may mean that there is still enough space for another girl on top

Be friendly to your children as they are the ones that decide where you live
when your are old.

When you finally find the perfect guy you think to yourself why isn’t he taken?

boys ‘re like mascara, they run on the first sign of emotion

while wing for the right person to come- play & have fun with the wrong one. but be
careful with who you play with because that person may be the right one all along

If you fool me once shame on you. If you fool me twice shame on me.

I Could Use a Little Money

Dear Father,

School is really great. I am making lots of friends and studying very hard. With all my stuff, I simply can’t think of anything I need, so if you would like, you can just send me a card, as I would love to hear from you.

After receiving his son’s letter, the father immediately replies by sending a letter back.

Dear Son,

I kNOw that astroNOmy, ecoNOmics, and oceaNOgraphy are eNOugh to keep even an hoNOr student busy. Do NOt forget that the pursuit of kNOwledge is a NOble task, and you can never study eNOugh.

History paper research on the Internet

Man: “How’s your history paper coming?”

Woman: “Well, my history professor suggested that I use the Internet for research, and it’s been very helpful.

Man: “Really?”

Woman: “Yes! I’ve already located 17 people who sell them!”

I will do anything to pass

A student comes to a young professor’s office hours. She glances down the hall, closes his door, kneels pleadingly.

“I would do anything to pass this exam.” She leans closer to him, flips back her hair, gazes meaningfully into his eyes. “I mean…” she whispers, “…I would do…anything.”

He returns her gaze. “Anything?”

“Anything.”

His voice softens. “Anything??”

“Absolutely anything.”

His voice turns to a whisper. “Would you…study?”

Writing letters to son

One student fell into a cycle of classes, studying, working and sleeping.

Didn’t realize how long he had neglected writing home until he received the following note:

“Dear Son, Your mother and I enjoyed your last letter. Of course, we were much younger then, and more impressionable. Love, Dad.”
